Job Description


This position is responsible for creating, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic records; entering data in databases and spreadsheets while ensuring the data received is error-free and relevant; and confirming aspects of the data with other departments as needed. This position will provide filing support and assisting users in locating hard copy data. Other responsibilities will include assisting various Operations groups with product manufacturing tasks as needed, occasional laboratory tasks and training other employees as needed. Perform additional duties as assigned.


Enter and manage BulkInv, QC, and other electronic and hard copy data and ensure data is accurate and up to date.
Prepare kit traveler notebooks.
Organize and maintain various paper and electronic documents.
Collect metrics and prepare monthly reports.
Label retail antibodies and proteins.
Assist various Operations groups with product manufacturing tasks as needed.
Train other employees as needed.
Perform basic laboratory tasks as needed.
Follows company policies and practices as outlined in the Handbook and follows guidelines regarding safety as outlined in the AWAIR, Chemical Hygiene and Exposure Control manuals in accordance to the job.
Performs additional duties as assigned.



Education and Experience:

This position requires a minimum of a high school diploma, AA degree (or vocational training) with a minimum of 4 to 6 years of relevant experience with a high school diploma, or 2 to 4 years with an AA degree (or vocational training). Understanding of GMP, GLP, and ISO9001 principles will be preferred. This position requires working on assignments that are complex in nature and those in which considerable judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making recommendations. Attention to detail and organizational skills are required. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask and have good communication skills, both verbally and in writing. Computer entry skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel are required. Advanced skills in Excel and/or data retrieval and analysis are a plus.

Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel software and computer skills.
Knowledge of basic lab equipment.
