Job Description


This position will own the vision, architecture and roadmap for the LabVantage LIMS software strategy.


•Own the vision, architecture and roadmap for the LabVantage LIMS software strategy

•Manage the design, configuration, integration, validation and implementation of the LabVantage LIMS System.

•Partner effectively with the Operations, R&D and Engineering teams in translating deep understanding of business user requirements and system domain expertise into detailed functional design, technical design, architecture, configuration, development and integration requirements.

•Create and maintain your team’s project roadmap and milestones and ensure that teams are working on high impact projects that align with the company mission and goals.  

•Oversee and support the administration and maintenance of the LabVantage LIMS system at a total company level.

•Provides and oversees system training to end users, contributes to process improvements, and the evaluation of related products.

•Recommends system improvements by analyzing current practices and processes.

•Provide first level diagnostic of incidents and support of LIMS business users.

•Define and develop and own your product’s success metrics.

•Ensuring gaps and associated risks are reported to respective Management and Quality Assurance staff.

•Oversee and support development and execution of User Acceptance Tests.

• Will manage a staff having hiring and firing responsibility.

•This role works with PHI on a regular basis both in paper and electronic form and have an access to various technologies to access PHI (paper and electronic) in order to perform the job.

•Employee must complete training relating to HIPAA/PHI privacy, General Policies and Procedure Compliance training and security training as soon as possible but not later than the first 30 days of hire.

•Must maintain a current status on Natera training requirements.

•Employee must pass post offer criminal background check.



•5+ Years of relevant experience with BS, BA and/or equivalent relevant experience.

•BS /BA degree in technical field preferred (CS, Engineering); MS or MBA a plus but not required.

•Experience managing employees. Role will accomplish tasks through direct supervision of employees.


•Proven expertise in LabVantage

•Strong problem solving and customer service skills.

•Experience working in a regulated industry required.

•A history of shipping products and track record of completing large scale system projects.

•Extensive experience working in cross functional / cross domain / remote teams.

•Effective project management and analytical/decision-making skills.

•Self-motivated, creative thinker and resourceful.

•Strong interpersonal skills.

•Comfort with ambiguity and ability to derive insights to open-ended challenges.

•Effective communication to audiences with varying degrees of domain knowledge.


•Duties typically performed in an office setting.
