Manager Laboratory Logistics

Do you possess a keen sense of attention to detail and the drive/desire to succeed? Come to an industry leader where you will have the opportunity to Lead a global team of Laboratory Logistics professionals, resourcing client projects with highly motivated and suitably developed Laboratory Logistics professionals. Lead activities related to project set-up, execution and closure with regards to laboratory logistics including pre-analytics, sample logistics and laboratory data processing in cooperation with PAREXELs preferred laboratory service providers and couriers, as well as with other external suppliers. Possess in-depth knowledge of laboratory logistics operations and the global central laboratory market.  Deliver presentations at conferences, meetings, training sessions.  Possess the ability to think strategically in regards to the development of the department and cross-departmental relations.  Initiate and complete business development tasks, such as strategic development, project/program proposal generation, presentation and negotiation.   Ability to understand and conduct financial tasks such as budgeting, cost control and negotiation.

Requirements

Education:
Educated to B.A./B.S. or Master degree, or equivalent, in natural sciences or other health-related discipline or logistics.
Or relevant work experience / degree.

Minimum Work Experience:
Numerous years of laboratory/pharmaceutical/clinical research/consulting industry experience at management / expert level.

Strong Expertise in Logistics processes

Previous direct experience in managing or leading clinical trial service programs or organizations strongly preferred
