   Main Duties and Responsibilities  

   As Maintenance Technician IV, you will perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on process and utility equipment in support of Warehouse and Pharmaceutical processes which operate 24/7.  Responsibilities include working knowledge of process equipment such as sampling booths, dispensing, regulated HVAC, regulated heating systems, CTU and other small storage units, Cold rooms, and alarming.  Working knowledge of Utility and facility equipment such as unregulated HVAC, refrigeration, boiler, chiller, cooling tower, pumps & drives, RODI, WFI, and clean steam systems. Full knowledge of all aspects of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic maintenance required for these systems.  

   Experience performing mechanical maintenance activities such as valve rebuilds (diaphragm, ball valves, gate valves, proportional control valves), pump rebuild including seals (positive displacement, air pumps, peristaltic, and centrifugal pumps),  agitator maintenance including seal replacements, motor pump replacement/alignment, and heat exchanger repairs.  Full knowledge of all aspects of mechanical maintenance required for these systems.  A thorough working knowledge of electronic theory and its application.  Training on PLC systems and HMIs with emphasis on Allen Bradley and Siemens BMS systems.  Digital Electronic Displays and Instrumentation.  Basic Programming of PLC software and PID control loops.  Maintaining the integrity of a software backup and control program.  Advanced motor controls troubleshooting – VFDs & DC drives.  Participate in NC Investigations as contributor and investigator.  


   You will independently plan and execute maintenance work requests that are complex and demanding. You will be expected to work independently or in collaboration with others. Excellent time management skills are essential.  




   Essential Requirements    
  •      Certificate of Completion at a 2 year technical school or High School diploma with experience in biological/pharmaceutical equipment maintenance or Military training and experience in relevant field.    
  •      Ten years’ experience    
  •      Detail oriented and able to complete any required (GxP) documentation    
  •      Excellent written and verbal communication skills    
  •      Use of basic and specialized hand tools including alignment, vibrations, bearing replacement, ultrasonic, pneumatic, etc.    
  •      Read mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic schematics    
  •      Read P&ID diagrams    
  •      Able to work in a clean room environment    
  •      Advanced computer skills, (Outlook, SAP-PM, Doc Management, Microsoft Apps)    
   Desirable Requirements    
  •      cGMP pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical production setting experience in process and maintenance
