The Logistics Specialist will work second shift, 1500 to 0000, Monday – Friday.
As a Logistics Specialist, you will be a Subject Matter Expert in SAP, LIMS, Trackwise and AZDoc. You will be responsible for import/export compliance and familiar with cold chain shipping/storage. You will ensure staff is current on training and certifications including Hazmat, Forklift and CDL. You will also be responsible for ensuring metrics are tracked/reported as needed and equipment is current on PM/calibration. Ensure proper attention is given to TrackWise records, Aegis records and logbooks are reviewed & approved. You will be trained as Lead Investigator for the group. You will be responsible for ensuring dock coverage schedule is maintained and all daily tasks are completed. Inventory of warehouse must be correct at all times. You will be responsible for import/export compliance at the Boulder Manufacturing Center. Coordinate emergency requests. You will be an audit SME for shipping & receiving activities. You will have Hazmat training, experience managing dangerous goods and international shipping.
Accomplishes results through lower-level employees who exercise some latitude and independence in their assignments. Often heads a centralized functional activity in Shipping & Receiving, Material Control or Weigh & Dispense. Functions as an advisor to a unit regarding tasks, projects, and operations. Becomes actively involved in daily operations only when required to meet schedules or to resolve complex problems.
- High school diploma
- Two to eight years’ experience in GMP regulated environment.
- Familiarly with inventory control systems and computer office programs.
- Forklift certified: Gas, LP-Gas, Diesel Trucks, electric sit-down rider, electric stand-up rider, Narrow Aisle Reach Truck, Narrow Aisle Straddle truck, Order selector truck, motorized hand truck
- Current CDL license or must be able to obtain CDL license within 6 months of hire
- Good problem solving skills and knowledge of when to stop and seek input and/or approval from management.
- Must be organized, possess time management skills and be willing to respond to changing priorities.
- Ability to cover other shifts as needed
- Ability to be on call as needed
- Agrees to work in Boulder or Longmont facility as needed
- College Degree
- SAP, MES and LIMS
- Training and certification in shipment of hazardous.
- Experience in warehouse, inventory control or logistics roles.
