Job Description


The successful candidate is responsible for coordination and support activities in Facilities and Equipment Engineering Department. They will be responsible for management of Facilities documentation (work orders, calibrations, etc), provide overall support to the equipment lifecycle (including tooling), and be the primary contact for equipment calibration.  Additional responsibilities will include assisting in the authoring/ execution of protocols, reports, design documents, and other GMP documents as required.

Job Description:

•   Ensure all preventive maintenance and calibration activities are completed on schedule.
•   Maintain system history files on all utilities and equipment.
•   Leads Out of Tolerance/deviation resolution and closure with subject matter expert and quality teams.
•   Responsible for tracking facilities and equipment deviations and CAPAs to closure.
•   Responsible for Periodic Updates of SOPs and Work Instructions.
•   Interact with stakeholders to resolve issues related to the facility and/or equipment.
•   Provide input to or lead a regular meeting that informs stakeholders on ongoing activities
•   Ability to perform routine facility maintenance, such as: perform and/or schedule regular maintenance on building systems and production equipment; ability to troubleshoot and make routine repairs to systems, equipment and/or machinery; basic landscaping; general stocking; and, delivery and pick up of company items.
•   An individual who can assist with Facilities administrative work (i.e. triaging requests, completing paperwork, working with suppliers, etc)
•   Participate in after hours on-call program to respond immediately to emergency situations (fire, evacuation, equipment failure, etc.)
•   Setup and maintain spare parts inventory
•   Perform additional job duties as requested.

Requirements


Job Requirement:

•   Bachelor’s degree (B.A. / B.S.) or equivalent in engineering, biotechnology, biological sciences, or related discipline required.
•   2-4 years experience working in a Pharmaceutical facility.
•   Must have a proven working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and refrigeration equipment/systems.
•   Ability to multi-task, excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail. Possess analytical thinking and problem solving skills. Ability to prioritize and re-evaluate priorities as situations change. Working knowledge of computer software (MS Office, MS Project, Excel and database experience preferred).
