We are looking for someone with expertise in in vitro display technology. You will have the opportunity to apply theoretical, technical and hands-on expertise in peptide display/discovery and engineering to help evaluate, optimize and identify lead peptide molecules for clinical development.You will play a role in advancing Lilly's discovery efforts. Some of the key responsibilities will include:Support peptide discovery and engineering efforts using emerging technologies for peptide display including affinity maturation.Execute peptide discovery and engineering strategies for lead optimization.Run in-house processes for library construction for discovery, and perform peptide library screening and selection.Independently perform complex experiments with attention to quality, details and documentation.Interpret data, troubleshoot experiments and present work at both internal and external meetings.Proactively interact and effectively collaborate with team members from cross-functional areas.
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in molecular biology, biochemistry or related fieldEmphasis on antibody or peptide display/discovery with at least 5 years academic/industrial experience.Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States.
