Description

We are currently seeking Economic Modelers to join the Global Economic Modeling Center.  We work in international cross-functional teams developing and supporting product value strategy focusing on evidence-based economic modeling throughout product life-cycle.  The activities involve early modeling for strategic input to development design and pricing, core models for use as basis for local model adaptations for HTA and price and reimbursement submissions as well as tools supporting field-based key account value communication. Key responsibilities include: -   Plan and develop evidence-based economic models aligned with global strategy and tailored to local payer needs to assess clinical practice, burden of illness, budget impact and cost-effectiveness in relevant settings.
-   Develop timely recommendations regarding critical model data requirements to be collected in clinical trial and evidence generation activities and influence the evolving value strategy.
-   Support external validation of models, develop technical reports, annotate and package models for affiliates, in close collaboration with cross-functional business partners and external experts.
-   Lead the development of economic value propositions using leading edge techniques across the entire product life cycle.
-   Lead cross-functional economic modelling teams.
-   Project management of project deliverables against timelines, budget and overall project prioritization.
-   Doctorate degree & 2 years of  directly related experienceOR-   Master's degree & 6 years of directly related experienceOR-   Bachelor's degree or & 8 years of  directly related experiencePreferred Qualifications:- Advanced degree in Health Economics and/or a quantitative discipline such as statistics, econometrics or epidemiology.
- Several years industry-relevant experience developing cost-effectiveness, cost of illness and budget impact models used in strategic healthcare decision making.  - Proven hands-on experience using Excel, Visual Basic, and/or TreeAge Pro.  Experience using SAS, STATA, WinBUGS and other software for statistical analyses will be an advantage.
- Solid project management skills including the ability to steer and drive the team towards objectives and hold team members accountable as well as highly motivate
