Roche Molecular Diagnostics focuses on developing predictive tools to assist in patient prognosis and treatment, as well as blood screening applications that help safeguard the nation's blood, organ and tissue supply. As a Group Marketing Manager you will lead and implement the strategy for the Women's Health #8211; Laboratory customer base. You will use your leadership skills and sales/ marketing expertise in the Molecular Diagnostics field to lead and direct marketing managers to successfully launch new products, drive product penetration, accelerate market share, and manage the product life cycle for new and existing products.  To be successful in this role, you will:

* Lead the development and implementation of the marketing strategies, tactics, and initiatives, ensuring that all key business processes are executed as designed and ensuring an overall alignment to goals.

* Develop metrics and analytics to drive the development of strategies and tactics to attain organizational goals.

* Serve as the global liaison for marketing strategies, tactics, and providing support for marketing plans.

* Monitor competitors to gather information in the areas of products, pricing, and resource deployment.

* Assume a leadership role in establishing and maintaining long-term relationships with key high value customers and key opinion leaders in the molecular testing and women's health market.

* Create and drive strong linkage to other functional areas, business areas, and global colleagues, to ensure achievement of objectives with successful stakeholder management and effective resolution of issues.

* Direct the development of marketing programs for Women's Health market Segment and assess of existing and potential markets, product lifecycle planning, coordination of technical product development, development of product strategies, definition of promotional activities, and product launch. May implement multiple channel programs; and directing the development of company market requirements for specific product line.

* Lead the development and implementation of successful solution-based sales strategies.

* Promote cross-divisional communication and tactical planning to maximize total product portfolio penetration.

* Train and provide ongoing coaching and performance management to support continual enhancement in overall productivity and career development of all direct reports.

This is a position based in Indianapolis, IN.

Requirements

You also:

* Have a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, or related business or scientific field. MBA preferred
* Have 5+ years of progressive marketing experience or equivalent work experience.
* Have strong product management and product launch experience in the molecular diagnostics or biotech industry.
* Have experience managing products in early and late life cycle
* Have excellent leadership qualities, including motivating others, team building, and credibility.
* Are proficient in customer segmentation, as well as product, environment, and value creation.
* Are able to collaborate and work cross-functionally with other functions including Global Business Area, sales, and other molecular marketing groups.
* Are able to deliver impact presentations to C-level executives and Key Opinion Leaders.
* Have demonstrated ability to motivate and influence in a positive manner
* Proven record of multi-tasking and ability to handle a high-pressure environment with significant timeline pressures
