Description:

AstraZeneca utilizes closed-loop marketing to gather intelligence on the performance of channel content across the customer journey. The Global Channel Excellence Manager is a digital subject matter expert who understands channel content and provides customer conversion intelligence to marketing leaders to improve poorly performing web pages, enhance components within different marketing campaigns and. Most importantly for this role, the Global Channel Excellence Manager must be able to take on program management responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

The Global Channel Excellence Manager will work on our ambitious internal AZ Market Excellence Program (STAMP Packs) that will enhance collaboration by providing marketers around the world with access to the latest innovative scalable campaign, and allowing them to participate in discussions and share best practice examples across the business. This will enable global marketers access relevant strategy guidance, campaign playbooks, historical use cases and best practices. Our content will support collaboration between central and local marketing teams.

The Global Channel Excellence Manager is responsible for developing, managing and maintaining the content. The Manager should be comfortable having a diverse set of day-to-day responsibilities from partnering with key stakeholders to maintaining and developing site content to execution global communication strategies.

The Global Channel Excellence Manager is responsible for:

  • Liaising with key stakeholders across internal marketing departments
  • Synthesizing complex and vast amounts of content
  • Producing new content and writing it in an interesting and appealing manner (PowerPoint and Web content)
  • Maintaining an internal-facing site and ensuring the information is accurate and up-to-date

The Global Channel Excellence Manager will take certain original projects from idea to final product. The Manager will also be responsible for overseeing the creation of engaging and innovative video content that will communicate and explain to marketing stakeholders globally the various components that, once put together, lead to a successful campaign launch.

Requirements

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, marketing, healthcare-related fields, digital marketing, technology capability, and/or information services
  • 2+ years’ experience in agency/digital marketing preferred
  • Proficient Authoring/Editing Skills: ability to write clear, concise and grammatically correct copy
  • Photoshop: Keen eye for designing, with creative flair
  • Video Editing: Experience, preferably in Adobe Premiere and Creative Suite
  • Portfolio demonstrating creative output and projects

Desirable Requirements:

  • Communication: ability to build relationships and confident presentation skills
  • Project Management Skills: highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-focused
  • Design: Understanding of basic User Experience principles
  • Capable of managing high stress situations and dealing with changes
  • Positive, proactive, go-getter personality ready to take on new challenges
