Working with our team of highly skilled physician educators, the preferred candidate will be an effective teacher and help lead the growth of our US News and World Report Nationally ranked Geriatrics program. Candidates should be interested in a multi-faceted practice opportunity involving inpatient and outpatient care, with a major focus on Geriatrics. Interest and experience in Geriatric Program Development including Alzheimers, Cognition and Healthcare Outcome research is valued. Limited Inpatient weekend call.

Required: Completion of an ACGME accredited residency in Internal Medicine; Board Certification in Internal Medicine and Geriatrics; astute clinical skills in inpatient and outpatient management, with a minimum of 3 years post fellowship experience; strong interest in geriatric patient management and educating residents through precepting, supervision, teaching and role modeling; motivated to participate in scholarly activities; commitment to serving a private patient panel.
Preferred: 5 years or more of experience managing a busy Geriatric/Internal Medicine practice; prior teaching/faculty experience with demonstrated record of accomplishment.
