Facilities Technician is responsible for the operation, maintenance and repair of plant utility and manufacturing equipment in the biotech / pharmaceutical industry. Candidate must have working knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical equipment, automation control systems, HVAC controls, process controls, general facility equipment operation and maintenance. Position requires acute attention to detail and compliance with Standard Operating Procedures in a GMP environment. Position provides direction to employees and outside contractors when applicable and has accountability to ensure preventative and corrective maintenance activities are completed on site assets.
Minimum of 3-5 Years in a technical industry performing plant maintenance as a Journeyman or level III Technician. Electrical technician experience or licensed electrician preffered. Preference given to biotech/pharmaceutical experience.
* Must be able to work off shifts and some weekends if needed.
Associates Degree or a two year certificate from college or technical school preferred. High School diploma and/or equivalent journeyman experience required.
