Job Description

This role is a full time in office position providing administrative support for the Patient Value team located on the West & East Coasts. This individual will have an integral role on the Patient Value Team often serving as a liaison internally and externally for the team.  The role requires the ability to manage multiple tasks, coordinate between departments, and effectively prioritize workload.   The position will interface with patients, external vendor partners and healthcare specialists always in a compliant, customer oriented manner.  This individual may occasionally be required to work independently on special projects according to agreed timelines and special requests.

This position supports the Patient Value team at Dermira and will handle a broad list of responsibilities of administrative support including calendar management, internal meeting coordination, vendor management, budget tracking, and travel. The position reports to the VP, Patient Value.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

•   Provide general administrative support to the Patient Value team
•   Coordinate travel, prepare and track expense reports
•   Manage calendars and support meeting scheduling
•   Assist in preparing agendas and minutes for meetings
•   Track key activities, budgets, contracts and invoices
•   Coordinate with other Executive Assistants as needed
•   Maintain departmental SOPs, training records, and other project related files
•   Support key activities including:
•   Communication and compliant interactions with HCP & patients
•   Assist Patient Advocacy and Alliance & Patient Experience and Innovation areas for project support
•   Provide assistance for Meeting and Events Coordination as needed
•   Assist in the development and editing of presentations
•   Manage finance process: contract/purchase requisitions/purchase orders, invoices and confidentiality agreements

Requirements

•   Bachelor’s degree or 2 year Associate degree with at least 2 years related experience or High School Diploma with at least 10 years of related experience;
•   Professional demeanor and ability to work as a team member
•   Experience with MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project)
•   Excellent oral and written communication skills
•   Experience in managing projects, multiple tasks and being able to use initiative in coordinating others to achieve outcomes
•   Ability to act with a high level of integrity and confidentiality
•   Demonstrated ability to build relationships and collaborate
•   Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
•   Able to act independently exercising good judgment - handle tasks with minimal direction
•   Highly organized with attention to detail
