   Main Duties and Responsibilities  

   Position Description  

   Responsible for ensuring all assets supporting the Process Execution Team (PET) are operating and maintained.  This will include scheduling of all maintenance activities, coordination of technical resources and technical trouble shooting.  This position requires extensive collaboration within the PET, with other maintenance facilitators and with OEM suppliers.  This position is the primary owner for all PET assets.  

   Major responsibilities (both)  

 
       
  •      Ensure adherence to SHE and GMP (change control) compliance and improvements    
  •    
  •      Own PET asset reliability and availability    
  •    
  •      Provide equipment troubleshooting  – mechanical and electrical    
  •    
  •      Schedule and direct PM, reactive maintenance, predictive maintenance and changeover activities    
  •    
  •      Own PM content, effectiveness, and performance    
  •    
  •      Own life cycle management of PET assets    
  •    
  •      Provide technical guidance to mechanic and technician personnel    
  •    
  •      Provide career development and performance management for technical staff (mechanics)    
  •    
  •      Ensure proper technical support is available for all PET activities    
  •    
  •      Ensure all training is current and appropriate for technical staff    
  •    
  •      Ensure documentation and systems (work order processes are maintained) are updated and maintained    
  •    
  •      Participate in risk analysis of spare parts inventory    
  •    
  •      Drive root cause analysis of machine failures    
  •    
  •      Implement CAPAs    
  •    
  •      Work collaboratively within PET as well as with other maintenance facilitators    
  •    
  •      Maintain presence across shifts    
  •    
  •      Drive and support OEE initiatives    
  •    
  •      Develop and maintain relationships with OEM suppliers    
  •    
  •      Lead Engineering projects within Formulation/Fill and Packaging PET    
  •  

   Major Responsibilities (Senior Engineering Maintenance Facilitator)  

 
       
  •      Provide technical guidance to engineers    
  •    
  •      Provide career development and performance management for technical staff (engineers)    
  •    
  •      Ensure continuous improvement initiatives are driven throughout PET    
  •    
  •      Ensure all T&E projects are turned over to facilities in operational state    
  •    
  •      Develop and deliver strategic asset master plans    
  •  

Requirements

   Essential Requirements  

   Minimum Requirements (Engineering Maintenance Facilitator)  

 
       
  •      BS in engineering or related field or equivalent experience    
  •    
  •      Minimum of 5 years experience in GXP or regulated production/R&D environment, specifically responsible for equipment performance    
  •  

   Minimum Requirements (Senior Engineering Maintenance Facilitator)  

 
       
  •      BS in engineering or related field or equivalent experience    
  •    
  •      Minimum of 7 years experience in GXP or regulated production/R&D environment, specifically responsible for equipment performance    
  •    
  •      Proven experience leading engineering team    
  •    
  •      Minimum 5 years facilities management    
  •  

   Desirable Requirements  

   Preferred Background (Engineering Maintenance Facilitator)  

 
       
  •      Working knowledge of TDMS, Microsoft applications, SAP    
  •    
  •      Training or experience in the applicable following technologies: mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, vacuum technology, electronics, programmable logic controllers, refrigeration, freeze drying, test equipment for electrical and mechanical trouble shooting, HVAC, aseptic/controlled environment    
  •    
  •      Previous supervisory experience    
  •    
  •      Knowledge or previous experience in managing maintenance programs    
  •    
  •      Experience in Six Sigma/ analytical trouble shooting skills    
  •    
  •      Experience working in a LEAN manufacturing environment    
  •
