An ideal candidate must have a demonstrated excellence, focus, and impact in their previous endeavors and possess a strong desire to contribute to our success. They will have a strong grasp of electrical engineering fundamentals including background in both digital and analog design, signal integrity, and work with either microcontrollers or FPGA designs. They should exercise sound judgment based on available data and experience and have had hands-on experience with a wide range of PCB designs.
+ Conceptualize, design, engineer, analyze and test electrical parts and PCB designs.
+ Participate in the discovery, evaluation, prioritization and implementation of potential improvements to current devices and processes.
+ Perform device testing when necessary for validation, verification and reliability.
+ Work with supply chain and vendors to procure parts on schedule.
+ Develop and maintain component, cable and system documentation.
+ Communicate progress and risks with team and project manager.
+ Various other tasks and projects you choose to own.
+ BS or MS in Electrical Engineering.
+ 2 to 6 years related design experience.
+ PCB schematic and layout experience, Altium experience a strong plus.
+ Simulation experience using tools such as Spice, LT Spice, etc, is desired.
+ Demonstrated ability to use lab tools such as oscilloscopes and other logic analyzers for test and debug
+ Some exposure to VHDL, C, or C++ desired.
+ Demonstrated ability to complete complicated design projects.
+ Hands on experience prototyping, building, debugging, servicing, testing and designing complex systems.
+ Superb verbal, written, and graphical communication abilities.
