Position Description

The Strategic Relationship Director will be responsible for building and maintaining strategic relationships with Allergan's top suppliers as well as managing relationships with Allergan's most senior internal stakeholders.  This includes setting the strategic agenda, orchestrating interactions between suppliers and procurement, overseeing supplier execution and performance, resolving and issues that may occur and conducting regular monitoring and KPI tracking.

•   Drive relationships and collaboration with strategic suppliers
•   Manage and track supplier performance

Knowledge of:  

•   Demonstrated knowledge of procurement principles and best practices
•   Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical abilities
•   Ability to influence senior management both internally and externally
•   Experience negotiating commercial terms and service agreements
•   Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
•   Ability to work independently and exercise good business judgment


Requirements


•   Bachelor’s degree required
•   Minimum 10 years experience in a sourcing/procurement environment
•   Procurement and supplier management experience within Pharma preferred
