Oncology Global Development leads the clinical development strategy by designing, executing, analyzing and reporting scientifically driven, patient-centric clinical trials in order to advance the Novartis pipeline.
Provide, support and guidance to the Global Project Team (GPT) in all aspects of the strategic planning and execution of the clinical portion of the development program.
Leadership, oversight, strategic clinical guidance and coordination to ensure the efficient and timely execution of the clinical development programs, including tactical guidance and direction to the Clinical Trial Teams (CTT’s)
Manage budget and resources ensuring timely execution of assigned clinical deliverables within approved budget.

MD required with more than 4 years advanced medical/scientific knowledge in Oncology/Haematology preferred.
More than 3 years industry experience in clinical research or drug development spanning clinical activities in Phases I through IV with at least 1 year in all aspects of conducting clinical trials (planning, executing, reporting and publishing)
More than 1 year experience in people management. This may include management in a matrix global environment.
Strong management, interpersonal, communication, negotiation and problem solving skills.
