We are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Director / Group Leader with hands-on experience in antibody discovery to join our collaborative antibody discovery team. Functional responsibilities will include antibody lead generation to support client biologics programs using immunization-based technologies across multiple therapeutic areas.

Successful candidates must have solid hands-on experience with designing and executing antibody discovery projects.  Previous experience with multiple immunization strategies and antibody discovery platforms is required.

The ideal candidate would also have prior experience leading antibody discovery projects, will be a hands-on manager of direct reports and may need to work at the bench as needed. The candidate is expected to be up-to-date on advanced technologies for antibody discovery and actively apply new concepts as appropriate to continuously improve functional area capabilities.

Requirements

• Expertise in antibody discovery, such as hybridoma generation or B-cell cloning in a drug discovery setting
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills
• Previous experience managing direct reports with a proven track record of developing careers
• PhD with a minimum of 6 years of related experience or a BS/MS with a minimum of 10 years of related experience in cell biology, immunology, biochemistry or a related discipline of relevant experience in antibody discovery
