Job Description

COMPANY:
• Pioneering diagnostic-biotech with an on-site CLIA-certified lab close to San Francisco. The company develops, markets, and conducts molecular diagnostic tests that address previously-unmet needs for an at-risk patient population.
POSITION:
• CLS role in successful diagnostic-biotech's high-complexity molecular testing CLIA lab close to San Francisco.
• A chance to acquire cutting-edge lab skills in high-complexity testing and NGS technologies as a member of a talented team of collaborative scientists dedicated to improving the lives of at-risk patients.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:
• BS in a scientific discipline.
• Hands-on PCR experience and/or high complexity molecular testing experience is highly desirable.
• The ability and willingness to learn new complex technical skills.
• This CLIA-certified lab requires that all CLS's carry on of the following four special California Department of Public Health licenses:
- - - CLS-Generalist,
- - - Clinical Chemist Scientist,
- - - Clinical Microbiologist Scientist, or
- - - Clinical Genetic Molecular Biologist Scientist (CGMBS)
• Computer competency, particularly proficiency working with Microsoft Excel, is essential.
