Job Description

Evofem Biosciences is a biotechnology company developing and commercializing innovative new products that support and promote women as the primary healthcare consumer. Evofem Biosciences is currently identifying and developing new and novel products that specifically address unmet needs in the areas of sexual and reproductive health, the prevention of acquisition of sexually transmitted infections and products that address or promote general health and wellbeing. CLINICAL PROJECT MANAGER

Summary:

Reporting to the Chief Scientific Officer, the Clinical Project Manager or Sr. CPM will be responsible for providing guidance and oversight for the successful management of preclinical and clinical trials within designated program budgets and timelines.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

•   Independently and proactively organizes and tracks all study activities, milestones and metrics
•   Leads internal study team under the supervision of VP, Global Clinical Development & Medical Affairs
•   Will be primary contact between Evofem and the CRO Project Lead
•   Develop and monitors study budgets and timelines
•   Partners with function peers to manage, adjust and revise project timelines and budgets, as required
•   Assist in selection of vendors and manages external resources
•   Communicates project status and issues management and other team members and ensures that project team goals are met
•   Participates in development of SOPs, protocols, Investigator Brochures, INDs, CSRs and other clinical and safety documents
•   Contributes to development of abstracts, presentations, manuscripts and other external forms of communication
•   Manages designated program budgets and timelines
•   Determines activities that are critical to company success and priorities within functional area
•   Anticipates obstacles of varying complexity and implements solutions to achieve project goals

Competencies:

•   Strong working knowledge of pharmaceutical processes and requirements
•   Strong project management and team leadership skills
•   Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•   Ability to lead cross-functional teams including CROs
•   Self-starter with minimum oversight required to accomplish goals
•   Ability to maintain day-to-day activities while being responsive to changing priorities

Requirements

Education and Qualifications:

Education:
•   Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in relevant scientific discipline.  Master’s degree or Ph.D preferred.
•   Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred.

Experience:
•   Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry/non-profits

Travel:  10%
