Description

AskGene Pharma, Inc. focuses on development and commercialization of novel and follow on protein theraputics to meet the needs of large patient population.  We are seeking an talented and experienced cell culture lab associate to  join our southern California unit, US. The qualified individual will be responsible for performing a variety of cell culture experiment and associated assays to develop recombinant protein drugs to support preclinical, clinical, and late stage research programs

Major Responsibilities include but not limit to:

•   Under general guidance of director, plan, organize and perform cell culture experiments.
•   Prepare media, buffers, and all other solutions.
•   Setup, monitor, sample and analyze cell culture process.
•   Maintain, calibrate and operate cell culture equipments and instruments.
•   Maintain Laboratory, monitor lab inventory and order supplies.
•   Assist in the development of standard operating procedures and specifications.
•   Assist in the writing, reviewing and editing of accurate technical documents including records and reports.
•   Assist in troubleshooting equipments, instruments and experiments problems.

Requirements

•   Excellent sterile techniques and prior experience with cell culture is a must.
•   Self-motivated, detail-oriented, good interpersonal and writing skill is must.
•   Experience with mammalian cell culture and bioreactor operations is preferred.
•   Cell Culture activities require periodic overtime work. Candidate must be flexible in time management.
•   Demonstrated laboratory skills in cell culture and good understating of metabolism of CHO cells are preferred.
•   Some experience of the application of Design of Experiments and other statistical techniques is desirable.  
•   Excellent skill in Microsoft word, Excel and data analysis.
