Description

As Business Development Manager you will be responsible for prospecting business with existing and new clients for our small molecules business, which is based in Cincinnati, OH.

Key Job Responsibilities Include:
• Development and execution of sales strategy for small molecules API clients.
• Prospecting activity to identify new clients.
• Generate client proposals  
• Sales and sales lead reporting
• Interface with site project management and planning teams  
• Participation in industry conferences/trade shows  
• Interface with marketing function
• Delivering company capabilities presentation to prospective clients
• Negotiating and closing deals
• Forecasting opportunities (including risk assessment to close deal)
• Interface with Legal to review contracts
• Interface with finance group to understand of project costing

Requirements

5+ years’ experience in a sales/business development role for small molecules API manufacturer; Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or other technical discipline; strong communication and influencing skills.
