As Commercial Systems Business Analyst, you will be responsible for business analysis, process and documentation of our suite of commercial applications, including Sales Force Automation/Customer Relationship Management, Reporting and Analytics, and iPad applications.

Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have exposure to and work with our field sales, medical science liaisons and corporate account director teams to ensure that our technology continues to meet their needs and exceed their expectations. As a member of ARIAD’s Enterprise Applications team, the Commercial Systems Business Analyst provides business analysis, project management, and hands-on systems support for multiple technologies within the commercial applications portfolio:

- Customer Relationship Management/Sales Force Automation (CRM/SFA) with Interactive Visual Aid
- Reporting and Analytics
- Data and Integration
- iPad apps
- Understand, identify, assess, and document business requirements, providing input into business priorities and advising business on options, risks and costs versus benefits of various solutions.
- Provide input to the development of formal business cases.
- Translate business requirements into functional and non-functional specifications. Actively manage and communicate changes to specifications.
- Provide seamless customer service, such as user training and helpdesk support.
- Assist in preparing SOP's and user guides.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and regulatory guidelines governing commercial and scientific interactions with healthcare professionals, payers, advocacy and other business partners.
- Serve as a role model for compliant behavior that is consistent with the mission, vision and values of the ARIAD organization

Requirements


- BS in Economics, Mathematics, or Computer Science/Information Technology related field of study
- Minimum 2 years IT Business Analysis/Project Management experience with 1 or more years focused on Commercial IT (CRM/SFA, Reporting and Analytics)
- Experience with IT Software Development Lifecycle, analysis and workflow mapping
- Must be able to establish strong relationships with business stakeholders, possess excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and be a self-motivated, proactive team player
- Must demonstrate good documentation and presentation skills
- Experience with CRM/SFA (Salesforce.com or Veeva) preferred
- Experience iPad applications preferred
- Experience with BI/Analytics tools (Cognos, Business Objects or MicroStrategy) a plus
- Strong commitment to business ethics
- Understanding of, and experience with, regulatory framework applicable to interactions with HCPs, payers, advocacy and other business partners.
