Support the implementation and expansion of Depomed’s document management systems. Support the validation testing and documentation efforts associated with our validated systems’ product update cycles. Drive process engineering efforts related to the adoption of document management practices across business units.

• Provide expertise in document management practices to support growing adoption of our document management systems, supporting Marketing, Regulatory, Clinical Affairs, and Legal.
• Working with our vendors and our user community, identify which functions should be enabled in periodic product releases
• Support validation testing and documentation efforts for periodic product releases.
• Support data migration scoping, requirements definition, process definition, testing, and verification efforts.
• Actively contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives

• Provide second or third tier support for issues related to document management that are received by the Help Desk, as necessary


• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or technical software certification (e.g., certification in relevant Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) applications) or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience with in supporting EDMS applications, with a track record of increasing levels of responsibility
• Strong technical knowledge of and direct experience with implementing, supporting, and maintaining electronic document management systems. Direct experience with either Veeva’s Vault product or Microsoft SharePoint is preferred.
• Recent experience in EDMS document and metadata data migration is preferred
• Experience working in heavily regulated environments (i.e., GXP, Dept of Defense, or SOX) and complying with change control systems

• Proven ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely to non-technical clients
• Exceptional customer service skills.
