Summary:
Regeneron is currently seeking talented and motivated Biotech Production Specialists to join our Commercial Scale Manufacturing Department. This position will require experience working under time-sensitive conditions.  Ideal candidate will be driven to succeed in a cGMP manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities includes all aspects of biotech production activities:
-Perform Upstream and Downstream operations using one or more of the following equipment:
-Bioreactors
-Centrifuges
-Depth Filtration skids & Tangential Flow Filtration systems
-Low-Pressure Liquid Chromatography Systems
-Media/Buffers preparation and filtration systems
-Operate Clean-in-Place (CIP) and Steam-in-place (SIP) Systems;
-Perform Mammalian cell culture and sampling operations using aseptic technique;
-Operate general production equipment such as Autoclaves, Incubators, and analytical equipment such as pH/Conductivity meters / spectrophotometers / others;
-Document and maintain production activity records according to cGMP regulations;
-Monitors production processes, creates process evaluation reports, and process characterization presentations.
-Perform other duties as assigned.
-Follow all Environmental Health and Safety standards.
-This position may require overtime.

Employees in this position are regularly required to lift up to 50 pounds.

Experience and Required Skills:

Experience and Requirements
-The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline plus demonstrated working knowledge of scientific/engineering principles.
-Flexibility to work according to the production schedule is required.  This position is primarily 3rd shift (Sunday-Thursday 10:00pm-6:30am OR Monday-Friday 6:00pm-2:30am) and may require weekend, holiday and overtime work.
-Demonstrated capacity to work in a team environment is a must.
-Must be able to read and follow detailed instructions and have good written and verbal communication skills, as well as solid computer skills.
