ASSOCIATE RESEARCH SCIENTIST

JOB LOCATION:  WALTHAM, MA

Required Skills:
•   Provide analytical support for formulation stability studies by using established protocols for cIEF, IEX-HPLC, RP-HPLC, and SEC-HPLC
•   Organize stability data and report results to group on a regular basis
•   Provide in-process analytical support by the following assays: RP titer, Pro-A titer, cIEF, RP-HPLC, LC / MS intact mass, and SEC-HPLC
•   Analyze and report all in-process data through LIMS in a timely manner
•   Optimize running conditions based on previously-developed methods to support analysis of new molecules, with guidance
•   Present updates at group meetings when necessary
•   Maintain ELN
•   Troubleshoot HPLC (not required but nice experience to have)

Computer Skills: ChemStation, Microsoft Office preferred

Project Description:
•   Basic knowledge of the drug discovery process and independence in experimental / assay design, data analysis and problem solving
•   Working knowledge and experience with a wide range of technical skills relevant to the specific biology field
•   Experience meeting project goals and timelines
•   Good analytical and communication skills are essential to document and interpret experimental data and write reports
•   Experience working in a collaborative team environment is also desirable
•   BS or MS Degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology or related field
•   BS and 3+ years’ experience or MS with 0 – 2 years’ experience required





This 8+ month position starts ASAP.
