Come, shine with us!Associate Director Marketing ImmunologyAssembles and presents marketing insights developed by the marketing team in collaboration with Market Research, Competitive Intelligence and other cross function departments. Assists brand management in collating/analyzing data and developing actionable brand strategies. Reviews the development of tactical plans.Responsibilities:1. Consults with Marketing Director and proposes data needs for strategic planning.2. Supervises the plan that assembles the appropriate marketing insights for the disease states/product areasto which assigned, i.e., Situation Analysis.3. Participates in analyses of data with Brand Management that determine strategic imperatives.4. Proposes to product managers the development of a tactical plan that parallels the completed Brand Plan(strategic choices).5. Develops metric measurements to assess the efficacy of tactics and strategies.6. Suggests opportunities to collaborate with cross functional colleagues in implementing strategic andtactical plans and determining improvements for change.7. Promotes new stakeholder development with internal and external stakeholders that will address the changinghealthcare environment and maintain current stakeholder relationships.8. Guides the implementation of field sales programs/tools through marketing managers.9. Recruits direct report(s) and guides their personal development. Develops using educational marketing toolsavailable (AMU) and Journey courses, suggesting outside tools/programs if needed. Implements into periodic personaldevelopment plans and performance reviews.10. Implement other support functions as assigned by marketing director.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree, advanced degree preferred.- This level requires 10 plus years of related, relevant experience (marketing, sales, sales training, market research, marketing operations, etc.) and/or equivalent education.- Demonstrated ability to be a high level contributor or leader of multiple projects, processes or functions.- Should have demonstrated a strong ability to converse with professionals about several disease states/product categories that are targeted by Astellas.- Ability to present complex issues to higher level management and contribute to high level presentations and discussions is a must.- Must have demonstrated leadership capabilities by leading teams and achieving goals.- Must be able to travel (approximately 40%)- Strong experience/proficiency in several of the disease states or product categories targeted by Astellas (transplant, autoimmune diseases) preferred- Specialized training in several disease state areas is a big plus as is specialized education in marketing preferred-Product launch experience preferred-Talent development & management experience preferred-Professional specialty marketing experience preferred-Direct to Patient specialty marketing experience preferred-Previous supervisory experience preferred.*cb*
