Responsibilities
You will be a member of an established computational Absorption, Distribution, Metabolism and Excretion (cADME) group within our multidisciplinary Drug Disposition Division, utilizing in silico approaches to facilitate the extraction, sharing, and application of ADME structure-property relationship knowledge. You will have active engagement with scientists in the ADME and related functions to facilitate data management and automation of key processes using state-of-the-art informatics technology. You also will be responsible for maintaining the existing in silico ADME toolbox while actively supporting innovation of new techniques.

Job Responsibilities
•   Manage cADME infrastructure support, e.g., 3 rd -party software and automation, by taking ownership of operations within the group to provide a stable working environment.
•   Build and maintain in silico predictive ADME models to support drug discovery projects.
•   Support integration of external informatics tools in the Lilly environment.
•   Build and maintain databases for complex ADME assays to facilitate data extraction and processing.
•   Facilitate automation of data processing to enable report generation, model building and other critical activities.
•   Serve as a liaison to colleagues in Discovery Informatics and Computational Chemistry for seamless integration of ADME tools across the discovery research organization.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications
•   M.S. or equivalent in informatics/computational sciences with experience in developing informatics tools to support scientific research.
•   Expertise in commonly applied scripting/programming languages typically used in cheminformatics such as C++, C#, Perl, Python, Java and others.
