The Position
We are looking for an Assistant Manager to help our growing needs in operational management. Must be a highly motivated individual who readily adapts to changing priorities, effectively manages your own time, set priorities for direct reports to ensure tasks and multiple projects are prioritized and completed on time
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
?   Supervision of laboratory operations to ensure that all laboratory processes are managed with the highest quality and efficiency (including troubleshooting).
?   Distribution of workload and placement of laboratory personnel to ensure efficiency and staff success.
?   Ensures customer orders are delivered on time
?   Provides technical support to customers
?   Organize training and development of all laboratory personnel.
?   Manage overall organization, housekeeping, maintenance, and space utilization of the laboratory.
?   Ensure that all required equipment is in place and properly functioning.
?   Maintain effective laboratory orders of supplies and equipment, Ensure production operation is uninterrupted.
?   Manage quality control, ensure highest production quality. Maintain procedures and documentations in compliance and up to date with the company Quality System.

Who you are
Requirements:
?   1-2 years of related technical production supervisory experience are strongly preferred. Candidates with less supervisory experiences but has strong management potential are also encouraged to apply.
?   Demonstrated strong leadership, team building and organizational skills in supervising production staff. A good manager of people who can earn the respect of team members through integrity, ability, discipline, and caring.
?   Highly motivated individual who readily adapts to challenges and changes, effectively manages your own time, set priorities for direct reports to ensure tasks and multiple projects are prioritized and completed on time.
?   Strong problem solving abilities. Ability to troubleshoot, investigate production problems and solve them.
?   Ability to analyze, concentrate and solve complex issues routinely through the course of the work day and remain focused in a fast-paced environment
?   Strong attention to details
?   Possess exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
?   BS, MS, or equivalent experiences in Biology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or related fields.
?   Knowledge of technical skills, including DNA and RNA extraction, PCR, RT-PCR, molecular cloning, gene synthesis, DNA sequencing, plasmid preparations, and troubleshooting molecular challenges are preferred.
?   Experience in technical writing skills, SOPs, research reports/proposals, etc.
