Nature Publishing Group seeks an Assistant Editor for Nature Chemical Biology, to be based in the Boston office of NPG.

Nature Chemical Biology is an international monthly journal covering all aspects of cutting-edge research at the interface of biology and chemistry (http://www.nature.com/naturechemicalbiology).

Requirements

The successful candidate will be part of a team that selects manuscripts for publication and commissions, edits and writes other content for the journal. This is a demanding and extremely stimulating position, which requires a keen interest in the practice and communication of science and a commitment to the development of chemical biology as a discipline. The successful candidate will therefore be dynamic, motivated and outgoing and must possess excellent interpersonal skills. In addition, the candidate will display broad scientific interests, outstanding communication skills and an ability to rapidly learn new scientific areas.

Applicants must have a PhD (in chemical biology, chemistry, biology or a related discipline) with demonstrable research achievements. Postdoctoral experience is preferred but not required.
