JOB SUMMARY Responsible for developing and implementing Depomed’s access programs with sales, brand marketing, Managed Care Account Team, key specialty pharmacy partners and vendors. The focus will be supporting Pain, Oncology, and Neurology branded products. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS • Responsible for developing and executing patient access programs ensuring optimal access of Depomed portfolio to patients. • Responsible for collaborating with key internal partners (Sales, Trade, Commercial Analytics and Brand Marketing) to ensure plan cohesiveness and alignment. • Leads all aspects of tactical implementation for access programs, including timelines, creation of promotional materials, and training of internal stakeholders and field based professionals (Managed Markets and Trade, Sales Force and Marketing). • Manages daily engagement with Depomed sales team, specialty pharmacy partners and copay vendors to ensure synergies amongst access programs • Manages access programs dashboards to provide ongoing strategic insights and overall effectiveness of access programs, including monitoring key performance metrics, feedback mechanisms and return-on-investment analysis. • Effectively manages changes in market conditions related to brand strategy and tactics while communicating potential market impact to Sr. Management. • Interacts with key internal stakeholders to ensure strategies and tactics are linked to achievement of critical business objectives. Key internal stakeholders include Sales, Managed Markets & Trade, Brand Marketing, Commercial Analytics and Commercial Learning and Development. • Develops relationships with key external customers (to include channel partners, access program vendors and targeted healthcare providers) in order to maintain a thorough understanding of current market conditions. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES • Develops strong internal relationships • Makes decisions that have significant impact on the department, and/or the business • Will interface with Executive level personnel • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field; advanced degree preferred • 5-7+ years of Pharma or Biotech experience • Prior experience in marketing or access marketing with channel partners such as specialty pharmacies • Strong understanding of patient assistance programs • Manage ambiguity by questioning data and/or stakeholder for further nuanced information •  SKILLS AND ABILITIES • Connect analytics with the overarching business questions, and can understand the link between brand strategy and analytic insights. • Manage ambiguity by questioning data and/or stakeholder for further nuanced information. • Develop new ways of thinking about a problem, in order to provide an effective solution. • Demonstrates a continuous commitment to the QC process to ensure quality of deliverables meets or exceeds the Commercial teams' standards. • A proactive self-starter who can lead work independently, with the ability to see the next step and take action without prompting. • Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills. • Ability to independently prioritize own work . • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
