DESCRIPTION
Igenica, Inc. is a biopharmaceutical company focused on the creation of breakthrough antibody-based therapeutics to address the unmet medical needs of cancer patients. The company has developed innovative technology platforms for discovering novel tumor antigens and cancer antibodies and is supported by world-renowned scientific experts and advisors. Igenica has long term funding, and is currently expanding its research and development operations. Igenica is based in Burlingame on the San Francisco Bay Area.

REQUIREMENTS:
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated protein chemistry Associate to support our core drug discovery activities toward the development of novel cancer antibody based therapeutics. The successful candidate will assist in the synthesis of various small molecule drug analogs and in the preparation of antibody-drug conjugates.

This position requires a BS/MS in Chemistry or an equivalent discipline with several years of relevant experience. Extensive laboratory experience in protein chemistry and preparation/purification of antibody conjugates is required. Additional experience in organic/medicinal chemistry is also highly desirable. Candidates must be willing to work independently in a laboratory environment and should possess effective communication and organizational skills.
