Procurement Manager

Responsibilities:
The Procurement Manager located at the Vacaville site will lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement optimal total-cost-of-ownership sourcing solutions to address complex supply business requirements, within prescribed timelines. Some travel to Company and supplier sites is required to support project initiatives and assignments. The Procurement Manager must exercise sound business judgment and acumen in leveraging and implementing sourcing and procurement methodologies with recommendations that include alternative scenarios that proactively meet business priorities that have short term and long-range objectives. The incumbent will use advanced theoretical knowledge in developing enhancements to existing principles and concepts to independently lead cross-functional teams in implementing optimal total-cost-of-ownership sourcing solutions to unusually complex supply business requirements, within prescribed timelines. Demonstrating a thorough understanding of business requirements and being able to build highly effective cross-functional teams that create diverse sourcing solutions is critical in this role.

REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires a Bachelors degree with a minimum of 10 - 12 years of related experience. CPM, APICS certification or the equivalent is preferred, as is an MBA or International experience. The candidate must have the demonstrated ability to manage and control an annual spend program of $20M.
