Epitomics Inc. is a fast-growing biotech company located in Burlingame and has a subsidiary in China. The company uses its novel and innovative rabbit monoclonal antibody technology to develop first class antibodies for research, diagnostic and therapeutic use.
Our Life Sciences Division is seeking a highly motivated Scientist/Senior Scientist to join our antibody development team as the lead coordinator for academic collaborations. The successful candidate should have a well-established scientific research track-record, publications, and excellent hands-on experience in antibody characterization, applications, molecular biology, protein chemistry etc.

Job Description:
The candidate will work closely with our life sciences product development team to initiate, negotiate, and manage academic collaboration projects under the direction of Senior VP of Life Sciences. The candidate should have strong communication skills, the ability to analyze experimental data and propose practical solutions. Broad and updated understanding of current development/trend of life science research is required. Occasional travel to conferences and laboratories of collaborators may be required.
REQUIREMENTS:
• A Ph.D. in biological sciences with 4+ years academic and/or industry experience in cell biology, biochemistry, developmental biology, molecular biology, or related fields.
• Experience in cell signaling pathway, antibody development/characterization/applications, antibody conjugation, recombinant protein expression and purification, and cell-based assays.
• Previous academic faculty experience is a plus.
• Highly motivated and enthusiastic team player, with excellent problem solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
