DESCRIPTION
Seeking an experienced GC Chemist for an immediate, R&D project need with a pharmaceutical company in the Irvine area!

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
-Responsible for transferring and/or appending analytical method for testing product exipients utilizing Agilent GC with Chemstation software and headspace equipped
-Perform GC analysis of product exipients per USP Chapter 467 revisions
-Respond to and perform method/analytical instrumentation troubleshooting as necessary
-Writing, reviewing, and implementing appropriate documentation as needed to maintain regulatory compliance
-Perform analytical method validation
-Coordinating with contract analytical laboratory and contract manufacturer to manage analytical method transfer efforts
-Preparation of documents to assist the regulatory compilation of drug application submission
-Other activities per manager/supervisor's discretion


REQUIREMENTS:
-BS degree in Chemistry, or related scientific field
-2-3+ years experience working with GC (testing and troubleshooting)
-Prefer experience with Agilent GC and headspace, and familiarity with Agilent Chemstation software
-Must be able to step in and complete tasks quickly and efficiently
-Must work well both individually and in a team to complete project
-Experience working in a GMP environment
