What could be more traditionally "sunny California" than Los Angeles (JOBS), with 329 days of sunshine each year? With average January highs of 68F (20C) and average August highs of 85F (29C), you can say good-bye to inclement weather. You can enjoy time at the beach, but those who have a soft spot for snow can still drive into the mountains and see some. And if you just want the outdoors, there's the Angeles National Forest right at your western doorstep!

LA has more stage theaters (more than 80) and museums (300) than any US city.
With metropolitan LA at more than twice the size of Switzerland (unless you take a gigantic iron to the country and flatten it out), you can be sure there's plenty to explore. And if you have kids, what could be better in their estimation than having attractions like Disneyland and the Universal Studios theme park in your backyard?
