Solstice Neurosciences, Inc. (Solstice) is a privately-held specialty biopharmaceutical company originally formed by four investor groups. In July 2004, the company acquired the intellectual property, world-wide marketing rights, manufacturing facility, and licensing applications for Myobloc® (Botulinum Toxin Type B) Injectable Solution, (also known as NeuroBloc® in Europe).

Solstice is unique as a start-up company with a marketed biological product. MYOBLOC represents the only botulinum toxin type B currently available to physicians and patients worldwide. MYOBLOC is currently approved in the US, Canada, and 26 European countries to treat cervical dystonia, and is being developed for marketing in Japan through a partnership. Solstice is also working on other partnerships to further expand its global markets. The product has great potential in other indications that are being pursued. Solstice aspires to further develop the utilization of toxins to advance the progression of the neurological, neuromuscular and pain disorder treatments.

Solstice remains the sole manufacturer of botulinum toxin type B with a state-of-the-art cGMP biologic manufacturing facility in South San Francisco, California, and a global headquarters located in Malvern, Pennsylvania.
