SEARCH JOBS

Business is the world's universal language. And as the planet becomes smaller through the Internet and satellite TV, the Latin Business Association's efforts transcend language, politics and cultural barriers.

For 28 years, the LBA has been committed to business growth, advocacy and business education. In 1998, the LBA established a non-profit 501©(3) Institute (LBAI), generating over $250 million in procurement and $170 million in business loans since its inception.

Established in 1976 as a private nonprofit organization, the LBA is the country's largest Latino business entity by virtue of total active membership and overall outreach to Latino business owners.

Mission

To be the fastest and most effective aligner of business opportunities in the market place.

Purpose

The primary and simple purpose of the LBA is to grow Latino-owned businesses by generating opportunities that impact the bottom line, by providing educational workshops, and by formulating effective advocacy programs.

Our Strategy

Our strategy revolves around delivering measurable and concise bottom-line results for our members. We gage our success by the amount of business provided to small companies, and the number and value of transactions created for our corporate partners. We call it this, "the give and take strategy."

Our Members

The LBA is comprised of an eight-member staff, 16-member Board of Directors, and a 20-member Corporate Advisory Board. The LBA has an active membership of over 1,300 strong, and a magazine and eNewsletter subscription of 70,000 combined.

This membership represents a diverse cross-section of industries such as attorney and accounting services, software development, film production studios, international distributors, construction and designers - to name a few.
