Linde is comprised of three separate business segments, the Gas and Engineering segment is responsible for sales of industrial, medical and specialty gases & equipment. The technology for the design and construction of air separation plants as well as Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology Plants also resides in the Gas and Engineering Group.
As the largest supplier of cylinder gases in the world, Linde continues to invest in new technology in order to better serve our Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology customers. Through technology, Linde continues to develop innovative products, simplify ordering and invoice processes through eCommerce and reduce the overall cost of manufacturing. Ultimately, these factors are used to assist our customers in reaching two goals:
1) Assist our Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology customers in introducing new products to the market faster
2) Assist our Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology customers in reducing the overall cost of manufacturing drugs and/or medical devices.
While meeting these goals, Linde is able to develop long-term partnerships with our customers. These partnerships continue to evolve as Linde provides customers with new opportunities to increase profitability, safety, efficiency, compliance and quality.
