The Vector Core at the University of Michigan is dedicated to the development and advancement of viral and non-viral vectors for molecular biology research. Working in collaboration with clinical investigators and laboratory researchers, the Vector Core has provided vectors to researchers not only within the University of Michigan, but to researchers around the world. Areas of research that have benefited from Vector Core expertise include cardiovascular disease, cancer, dentistry, and pharmaceutics.
Current vector systems available through the Vector Core include adenovirus, retrovirus (MoMLV), lentivirus (FIV), and adeno-associated virus (AAV). We can assist in developing and using any of these vector systems as tools in your biological research.
