"Making Strides Against Breast Cancer" is the largest network of breast cancer awareness events held by the American Cancer Society to raise money for breast cancer research and care. SynteractHCR will participate in this non-competitive 4-mile walk to help fight the disease with research, information and health services for breast cancer patients. The CRO strongly encourages employee participation and donations. All money contributed and raised will benefit the American Cancer Society in its long-term efforts to fight the disease.

"SynteractHCR is dedicated to help the American Cancer Society in fundraising, and grateful to have such a committed team giving back to the community," said Trisha Vonder Reith, senior director, marketing communications at SynteractHCR. "Our mission at SynteractHCR is centered on supporting the innovation and development of better therapies in healthcare and bringing medicines to market to provide a better future for patients. With the joined efforts of our employees, friends and families, we are pleased to be able to support that mission here in our community through direct participation in this great event."

Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women in the United States, other than skin cancer. There are more than 2.9 million breast cancer survivors in the United States today. The American Cancer Society welcomes supporters like SynteractHCR.

Those who are interested in donating or walking can contact SynteractHCR representative Raschael Shelton at 760-268-8200 or visit the American Cancer Society.
