ORLANDO, Fla., Nov. 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Sequiam Corporation (BULLETIN BOARD: SQUM) , through its wholly owned subsidiary Sequiam Software Inc (http://www.sequiamsoftware.com/), a leading information management and software technology company specializing in Web-based application services for enterprises, print service providers and the education and travel industries, today announced that it will be providing, through its authorized channel partner Danka Inc, Sequiam's SmartAccess 123 print management solution to the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. This solution will work in conjunction with Danka's printing solutions to enhance performance of the medical center's print shop.
Combining Sequiam's Print It, 123! and Scan It, 123!, SmartAccess 123 will give the Medical Center's users the ability to print to the in-plant print shop as easily as printing to a local or workgroup printer by simply selecting the print shop as a printer from within the application. Access to any industry-standard scanner allows users to just as easily manage the printing of paper-based documents.
"We are pleased to be working with the University of Mississippi Medical Center, one of the nation's most prestigious university medical centers," said David Dobkin, President of Sequiam Software, a division of Sequiam Corporation. "We expect our collaborative efforts with Danka to quickly deliver measurable results for the University of Mississippi Medical Center as we complete installation."
With no up-front capital investment required, SmartAccess 123 is a cost-effective and risk-free option for managing print within the university campus environment in a time where university operating budgets are increasingly constrained. Through its arrangement with Danka, the University of Mississippi Medical Center has agreed to process an initial 20 million pages of capacity through the Sequiam system.
