Pioneer Surgical Technology today announces the market launch of the Pioneer Advantage portfolio of allograft products including a large ALIF interbody, Bigfoot. Pioneer Advantage products include machined allografts for cervical and anterior lumbar procedures as well as demineralized strips and cubes for use in various spinal and general orthopaedic surgeries.
Regarding Pioneer's ALIF implant Mr. Shane Ray, General Manager Biologics for Pioneer stated, "Compared to traditional ALIF bone products on the market today, Pioneer's Bigfoot ALIF graft is one of the most robust grafts in the industry providing a large structural area for stability as well as a large opening to promote interbody fusion. This further supports Pioneer's commitment to novel biologic products in spine".
