PeriOptimum and Sonitor Technologies Announce Strategic Partnership for Real-Time Location Technology

LARGO, FL--(Marketwire - February 25, 2008) - PeriOptimum, the leader in improving surgical throughput, and Sonitor Technologies, Inc., the leading developer, manufacturer and supplier of a proprietary ultrasound Indoor Positioning System (IPS) and Real-Time Location Systems (RTLS), announced a reseller agreement to deliver their combined real-time location solution to healthcare organizations. Under the agreement, Sonitor's ultrasound-based indoor positioning system (IPS) will become the real-time technology platform for providing accurate and reliable room-level location information of patients, staff and equipment to PeriOptimum's integrated automated workflow software. The Companies are in the process of installing this solution at Women's Hospital in Baton Rouge.
