Mortara Instrument, Inc. Receives Frost & Sullivan Award for DICOM ECG Company Honored with 2008 Diagnostic Cardiovascular Monitoring Equipment Product Line Strategy Award

MILWAUKEE, Oct. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Today Mortara Instrument announced receipt of a Frost & Sullivan Award for its incorporation of DICOM ECG into the company's diagnostic ECG modalities. In selecting Mortara Instrument for this award, Frost & Sullivan Research Analyst Gideon Kumar commented, "Frost & Sullivan bestows the 2008 European Diagnostic Cardiovascular Monitoring Equipment Product Line Strategy Award to Mortara Instrument in recognition of the company's ability to garner a highly competitive position in the market through successful integration of the ECG waveforms and with the hospital information system using DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine)."
