MediSys Corporation Announces Addition Of Former Harvard Fellow To Advisory Board

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla., Jan. 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- MediSys Corporation announced today that it has named Dr. Garry Goldstein, former Medical Director for General Motors, to a position on the Company's Advisory Board. Dr. Goldstein and the rest of the Advisory Board will oversee both internal and external affairs for the Company, including the ongoing development of the MediSys "MaxLife Center for Men(TM)" program, and the various community-based activities that are planned to help build awareness for the Company.

Dr. Goldstein, a former research fellow for Harvard University, received his medical degree from the University of Virginia and performed his post doctoral work at MIT. For 12 years of his esteemed career he served as a Medical Director for General Motors Corporation. Dr. Goldstein has also been a medical consultant for the Aetna and Metropolitan Life Insurance Companies.

In addition to owning and operating his own successful private practice, specializing in Internal Medicine, for 22 years, Dr. Goldstein has also served as a past president of the Delaware component and a member of the House of Delegates of the American College of Occupational & Environmental Medicine, and as a regional Medical Examiner for United Parcel Service (UPS). Dr. Goldstein is certified by the American Board of Forensic Medicine and is Board Eligible in three specialties: Internal Medicine; Preventative Medicine; and Emergency Medicine.

Dr. Goldstein was quoted as saying, "With 22 years in private practice in Internal Medicine and 22 years of teaching medicine at Boston University I can say that this is a very important project to put forward to the Internists for diagnosing and early prevention of other disease states such as Diabetes's and Heart Disease."
