Humedica to Participate in Healthcare IT Panel at Harvard Business School's 7th Annual Healthcare Conference

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Humedica, a next-generation clinical informatics company, today announced that it will be presenting at Harvard Business School’s 7th Annual Healthcare Conference: “Policy Reform: An Inflection Point for Healthcare Management?” on Saturday, January 30, 2010. Humedica’s president and CEO, Michael Weintraub will participate in a panel moderated by healthcare IT industry veteran John Halamka, MD, MS. Dr. Halamka is the chief information officer of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, chief information officer of Harvard Medical School, chairman of the New England Healthcare Exchange Network (NEHEN), chair of the US Healthcare Information Technology Standards Panel (HITSP), co-chair of the HIT Standards Committee, and a practicing emergency physician. The panel, entitled “Opportunities in Crisis,” will discuss IT’s impact on healthcare as well as the opportunities and threats created by stimulus funding and meaningful use. John Halamka currently serves on Humedica’s Scientific Advisory Board.
