IRVING, Texas, Oct. 31, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Caris Diagnostics, a leading provider of expert anatomic pathology services, announced today upcoming highlights from the Company's presentations at the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) 2011 Annual Scientific Meeting being held in Washington, DC from October 29, 2011 to November 2, 2011. In total, Caris is presenting 15 abstracts. Specific highlights consist of new findings that build upon Caris' strong emphasis in gastrointestinal disease research. Two examples are "High Prevalence of Celiac Disease in Women With Young Onset Collagenous Colitis" authored by Ahmed Bedeir, MD, Bhaskar Ganguly, and Mukunda Ray, MD, PhD and "Seasonal Patterns in Eosinophilic Esophagitis: An Analysis by Month of Diagnosis and Month of Birth" authored by Jennifer M. Hurrell, DO, Amnon Sonnenberg, MD, and Robert M. Genta, MD, FACG.
