The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society To Honor BioVision, Inc.'s Dr. Christopher B. Wood

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 18, 2005--The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's New York City Chapter will host the Society's Annual Bill Bernbach Memorial Dinner, in part, to honor Dr. Christopher B. Wood, Chairman and CEO of Bioenvision, Inc. (Nasdaq:BIVN) on May 18, 2005. The Society is honoring Dr. Wood for his work in developing clofarabine, which recently received FDA approval for the first new children's leukemia drug developed in a decade for the treatment of children with leukemia.
