WITA GmbH Collaborates With Polish Biotechnology Center

Teltow, Germany & Cracow, Poland, April 5th, 2005. WITA GmbH, a German company specializing in the field of proteomics and protein analysis, has now established its first platform in the growing Eastern European market by signing a cooperation agreement with BioCentrum Ltd. in Cracow, Poland. As a result of this collaboration, Polish proteomics researchers will gain access to advanced technologies, e.g. in the area of high-resolution two-dimensional gel electrophoresis. With this analytical technique, up to 10,000 different proteins may be separated in protein extracts obtained from cell cultures and tissue specimens of all kinds.
